6.       Public Hearing:  Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Grant       Application from the Waterways Improvement Fund for Boat Ramps,       Boat Docks and View Point / Sitting Area Improvements at the Eddie       Bostic Recreation Area:  open public hearing to collect testimony, all       supportive comments, close public hearing, proceed and submit       application with support from the Mayor and City Council

 

7.       Request for Extension of Two Loans by Steven and Jerelyn Ribeiro:        approve one year extension for both loans by JR & BD

 

8.       Request to Dissolve the Glenns Ferry Economic Development       Committee by David Payne:  approve to dissolve committee from the       City and go under the Chamber by DP & JR

 

9.       Events and Update of the January 17th, 2011 Flooding of Little Canyon Creek:  review and discussed events of the flood

 

10.     Mayor & City Council Updates & Comments:

                    Mayor – AIC City Officials Day at the Capitol on Thursday

                    BD – work on disaster preparedness

                    CB – thank everyone for the help they provided during the                                  flooding

 

11.     City Department Reports:

          A.       Police – Capt. Bob Peace:  agreement work

          B.       Library – Lily Hampton:  re-appointment, need dumpster, need                           wood desk

          C.       Building – Vance Pruett:  absent

          D.       Fire – Bob Janousek:  help work on disaster plan

          E.       Public Works – Jeff Cook:  nothing

          F.       City Treasurer – Debra Rowan:  nothing

          G.      City Clerk – Will Berg:  nothing

          Jill Laib – reported on the Dept. of Commerce visit to tour the                             revitalization project last Saturday

 

          David Payne – update of request for information by the Dept. of                          Commerce, mentioned events surrounding the old Trophy                         Club building
