The Glenns Ferry Chamber of Commerce announces "Centennial Clock" fundraising Project. The GFCC has committed $4000.00 towards the purchase of a replica antique style clock to be located at the Chamber Visitor Center.

The clock will cost $19,000.00 and the Chamber hopes to raise the funds through donations and fund raising efforts. The Chamber has sought a collaborative effort with the Revitalization Committee to assist with fund raising. The project will be funded totally through donations as it does not meet the criteria for grant assistance.

The clock will be placed on the visitor center corner in time for our centennial celebrations September 25th-26th.

To recognize contribution a bronze plaque will be prominently displayed in conjunction with the landscape design. The funding tier will involve, Platinum for Over $1500.00, Gold for $1500.00, Silver for $1000.00 and bronze for $500.00 -$999.00 in recognition. With our chambers generous seed donation and bridge funding by anonymous donors, the 50% deposit on the clock has been forwarded to the Fancy Street Clock & Light Company in order to meet the time requirements for delivery by our centennial.

If you can help fund the clock and leave your legacy or have any questions, please call Beckie Critchlow, 208-366-7687, Jill Laib 208-366-2354, or Harry Knox 208-366-7484.

We are at $12,500.00 already. Please do what you can.
