Intent, Mission and Purpose

Intent: To establish a team approach among all parties involved in the following:

1. Annual Three Island Crossing Re-Enactment >Community Participation > Native American Participation

2. Youth  Scholarship Programs

3. Interpretive Center Enhancement

4. Support pf Native American Cultural Activities

5. Community Services and all other activities sanctioned by the organization.

Mission: To preserve and perpetuate an accurate portrayal of pioneer and Native American Cultures, Heritage, History and relationships.

Purpose: >Promote a bonding of the various western cultures through preservation of the historical and educational aspects of the Oregon Trail, Three Island Crossing, Three Island State Park and the Interpretive Center.

> Promote Idaho Tourism on State and National levels.

> Produce a safe, educational, family oriented annual event, namely; "The Tree Island Crossing"
